Benalmadena Bash II

For over 20 years I have been running rallies/socials in places such as Las vegas & cocoa beach in the US and even gone as far as Adelaide in Australia. I have been finding it harder as I get older to find the time and energy that running these events takes with the huge distances and time differences involved, but I don’t want to give up on the challenge of getting everyone together abroad for a bit of fun and hopefully a great event.

The obvious choice for an event closer to home was Benalmadena a place where we had held an event back in 2008 & only 20 minutes from Malaga airport. This time I wanted to do the event as I have in all the US & Australian events using a hotel as a central point for the event and a large venue for the evening dos.

The event will be Held at the 4 star sunset beach club hotel in the wonderful Spanish resort of Benalmadena. The hotel is right on the beach & has many facilities including two outside swimming pools, bars, restaurant and even has its own supermarket. The evenings dos will be held at the Moonlight Bar a great venue that takes 500 people and is attached to the hotel.

We will be running three nights of dos In the way we do it at Woolacombe with DJs & a band on Friday & Saturday then a fun night with the DJs straying from the normal scooter tunes on Sunday. I enjoyed DJ’ing the 90’s night so much at the VFM’s Lanzarote event I thought why not do it again so Sunday will be in a 90’s rally style (I forgot how much I used to enjoy DJ’ing on 90’s rallies) & yes if you want to do 90’s based fancy dress you can or even dig out the stuff you wore to rallies back then……

DJ’s from across the UK – Emma Cox, Terry Walters, Darren Groves, Alex Carnaby Paton, Ian Rossiter, Steve Chilli Chilcott, Dave Lloyd, Neil Carter, Jason Ude, Tracey Screamcheese, Andy SWS and special guests local DJs Lupi & Steve Goodey..

Friday band -Skafeinados (local ska band with an eclectic mix of tunes not just the normal covers)
Saturday band -The Neuras (Seville based mod/indie originals with a couple of covers)

Tickets will be on sale from 2nd April on a first come first served basis watch this page for details of how to go about getting them.
Tickets will be £30 each and there will be a limit of four tickets per order to keep it fair for everybody.
